PU CET (UG) is a university-level entrance examination conducted annually by Panjab University, Chandigarh for admission to B.Sc. (Hons.) programmes and B.Pharmacy courses. The test is held in offline mode using a pen-and-paper format. Candidates must fulfill the prescribed eligibility conditions to appear for the exam and seek admission.

For admission to B.Sc. (Hons.) under the Honours School System (4-year programme as per NEP 2020) and B.Pharmacy, the final merit list is prepared using multiple components:

• CET (UG) score – 75% weightage
• Marks obtained in the 10+2 or equivalent examination – 25% weightage
• Additional weightage for NCC, NSS, and similar achievements, where applicable.
